10/10 Would Recommend ADV 4310

I learned a lot this semester in ADV 4310; and from the knowledge gained, I know I will be ready for any career field in advertising and marketing.  Firstly, I want to touch on the Certification the professor required the class to get in place of tests. This was an ingenious idea and I hope more professors adapt their classes to this type of real-world testing. I was able to gain first knowledge with Google Ads Search, Display, and Analytics. I also got a certification from Hubspot on Inbound where I learned about CPA. The opportunity to take certifications that will apply to my future profession is indispensable and rare.  In addition to that, for 10 weeks my professor required the class to write a weekly blog reflecting on that week's lesson and guest  lecturers .      This past week for class, my professor set up a lecture at Bake More Pies in the Tampa Bay Area. Intentionally, I was under the impression that we would be attending a bakery of some sort and talking about how they digitally advertise to the public.      This past  Tuesday , March 21st, my ADV 4310 Professor brought in an old colleague to give a presentation about his career as a Digital Designer at Qgiv. The guest lecturer was able to dive deep into the User Experience, UX, and its relationship with empathy, heuristics, and mobile design. The  User Experience  focuses on having a deep  understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations.      Before, I had a limited amount of knowledge of what UX was and how it was tackled by designers.      As digital marketers, we always need to have our fingers on the pulse, especially during the holidays and social events. Consumers love holiday deals and promotions, I know firsthand because the time I consume the most is during the holidays. Also, consumers anticipate the holiday ads and look forward to what their favorite brands are going to roll out. However, every digital marketer is aware of the spending frenzy that surrounds the holidays and that a lot of brands take action during this time.
