  Part 1:                    The first major takeaway from the article “Why Race Matters on the Internet” is that not everyone has equal access to the internet. This is due to the fact that “services are either too costly or unavailable in certain communities”, often communities where people of color are in the majority. The second major takeaway from the article is that black and Latino people are the fastest adopters of smartphones in the country. Animaker: The effects of social media on body-image

Hey, Y'all!! So for this week's assignment, my group and I created an Animaker cartoon video explaining your research topic in a fun and creative way. We chose to research the negative effects of social media on body image with an in-depth look at adolescents using social media platforms  1.  Is the video effective in helping you understand the topic?     Making this video was very helpful in helping me better understand my chosen research topic. In order to make the cartoon engaging, we had to shorten the phrases and sentences into simply to-the-point topics. This made comprehending the topic a lot clearer and easier! 2.
