Part 1: The first major takeaway from the article “Why Race Matters on the Internet” is that not everyone has equal access to the internet. This is due to the fact that “services are either too costly or unavailable in certain communities”, often communities where people of color are in the majority. The second major takeaway from the article is that black and Latino people are the fastest adopters of smartphones in the country.
